I had a moment of pure genius  the other day (or maybe im just a bit slow lol) regarding the use of a single 7-day active booster and getting the most SP from it.
like probably a lot of people I purchased one of these last week because of the -40% off sale event and activated it immediately on the Wednesday after downtime. I reached max cap with it pretty quickly, about 2 days with some afking in the MCC mostly while I played Farcry 3 on the pc. Probably would have taken me 3-4 days to max cap with no afking at all.
Anyway after I maxed the sp cap with 5 days of active booster left I realised it would have been better to not play Dust at all until about Sunday then activate the 7 day booster and start grinding. This would mean you have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of Active booster with maximum possible SP cap still. Then after server downtime on Wednesday and the SP cap resets you have 4 days of active booster left still which leaves you Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to max cap again.
So you get 2 max caps +50% of sp for a single 7 day booster. In order to do this a second time you would need to not play dust again until the following Sunday.
As an example:
Wednesday 1st May - Server downtime and SP cap reset (don't play Dust)
Thursday 2nd May - Don't play Dust
Friday 3rd May - Don't play Dust
Saturday 4th May - Don't play Dust
Sunday 5th May - Activate 7 day booster (start grinding or afking)
Monday 6th May - grind...grind...grind...afk...etc
Tuesday 7th May - rinse...repeat...grind...grind....ZZzzz... Reach Max SP Cap!
Wednesday 8th May - Server downtime and SP cap reset (grind... grind...grind)
Thursday 9th May - grind...grind...grind...afk...etc
Friday 10th May - grind...grind...grind
Saturday 11th May - grind...grind...grind... Reach Max SP Cap again!
Sunday 12th May - Active 7 day booster ends.... Don't play Dust unless you want to grind soft cap SP or [insert reason here]
Monday 13th May - Don't play Dust unless you want to grind soft cap SP or [insert reason here]
Tuesday 14th May - Don't play Dust unless you want to grind soft cap SP or [insert reason here]
Wednesday 15th May - Server downtime and SP cap reset (Don't play Dust)
Thursday 16th May - Don't play Dust
Friday 17th May - Don't play Dust
Saturday 18th May - Don't play Dust
Sunday 19th May - Activate Second 7 day Booster and start grinding.
Obviously this is just for people that want to get the most bang for there buck. Ive personaly stocked up on a few 7-day boosters while there on offer, just 2 of them will last almost an entire month.

Yep, that's why I said [insert your reason here]. Everyone has there own reason for playing after the SP grind is finished, could be for fun or practice. My fun stops after a few games then I get bored, but that's probably because we haven't had a big update in a while and there is plenty of other games on this planet to play also lol.
But yeah back on topic, its defiantly worth stocking up on 7 day actives at their current price. 4 weeks of possible max active SP with 50% bonus for about 8k Aurum if you play on the correct days like I explained. There is also optional days you can play if you want that wont affect the SP, and there is days you defiantly must not play which is great for those of us that work or have a life outside of our man caves. |
